Is a Ranger Tech a Superspeed that's just called a Tech?

The Ranger Tech was the forerunner of the Super Speed.
The idea at the time was a Tech like razor (one of the all time best selling razors Gillette ever made) in a one piece twist to open format.
I do not have one but I think I have read that the ranger tech is slightly more aggressive than a superspeed.
When Gillette tried out the solid safety bar (late '30s) they began using the "Tech" moniker, 3-piece or one-piece.
Their new technology, no comb!
The name stuck with the 3-piece.
