I'm getting a super speed!!!

I'm psyched... I just won an auction on the bay for a Gillette Red Tip SuperSpeed with the original case. Auction Here. The pic is poor, and the price was a little high, but after getting bid-sniped on my last try for a super speed, I decided to spend a tad more lol... It is going to need some cleaning, and I have no idea which year it is yet, but I cant wait to find out. This will be only my second razor and will go next to my gillette old type. Whatchyall think of it?

I think that you paid a very fair price for a cased RT. From the limited pic it looks great. They are nice shavers. You should enjoy and are well on your way, well maybe just beginning with 2 razors, but why stop now?

Thanks guys, It's good to know that I didn't over pay any. Now that I have 2 good DE's, I think It's time to move on to blades. Then I can move on to creams, soaps, a brush, bowl...

I think you did well one the price, considering that you are getting the case, and since the paint on the tip looks good (what we can see of it). Even without all that, the price you paid is not out of line. I hope you enjoy it. My red tip is one of my favorites.

I think you did pretty well with that price. I just recently lost an auction for a RT w/o case that ended within a couple dollars of that. Admittedly, the razor looked to be in very excellent condition. IMO, if you overpaid at all, it was an insignificant amount.
