My biggest concern now is how I'm going to explain the sudden appearance of a giant marbled-blue fountain pen to SWMBO!

I feel your pain. I blew my pen budget for the month too... though I do have a Pilot 78G broad coming any day now.
That said, if (and most likely when) I got a Cum Laude... it'd be blue.
I'm in for the blue, but you already know that......... right Andy? LOL
Probably neither, but they look like great pens. At the moment I'm resisting a F-C #14 in racing yellow that's calling my name.

I'm pretty sure the Nib is either where all of the shaving AD enablers retire or where the new enablers hone their skills.
Just that pen only. They have a Pelikan M320 that looks great, but I'd rather have a M200 or their #14 first as I have a TWSBI Mini as a smaller pen.
Doug, Brian and Mark are still the craftiest enablers... They do it and you don't even realize it. (Doug's M200 Telekom *cough*)
