What's new

I'm back

Hi guys I'm back :001_rolle

I've spent the summer mostly away from my computer, but dropped in and visited the forum occasionally.

As the summer came upon me my Ad's were under control but that's not to say I didn't find some neat stuff . . . Pictures coming soon :001_rolle

It's easy to get obsessed with being on-line so I think the summer break was a good thing.

One of my plans for the near future is to resurrect the "On going mystery pif" hopefully within the week as the original foundered after several passes. I've several pieces to get it going.

My new scuttle is soon to be built so I'm planning on making my prototype scuttle a traveling pif so people can experience using and play with a "Dribble Port" but first my main scuttle still needs to be built.

I've a post or two to make now so for now I'm glad I'm back and have missed the forums

Here are some pics of my prototype scuttle with dribble port

That scuttle looks nice, however would it be more beneficial to have it closer to the bottom of the scuttle?

I consider the dribble port an absolute nessesity, at least for me if I was not having my custom scuttle built I'd opt for either a large moss or dirtybird 1.5 with an added dribble port. If you wish to have a dribble port incorporated into a scuttle i.e. moss, georgetown, or dirty bird etc. message me so I can give you some pointers before you order it.:thumbup1:

The placement of the dribble port effects how much water can be held in the scuttle as the water line is even with the dribble port so the higher the better for water and heat retention, although even with the low port in my prototype that scuttle really holds it's heat well.
