Identification and question

I just bought what I think is a 1916 Aristocrat.

Two questions:

1. Am I correct?
2. What differentiates this from a Single Ring?

Thanks. The case on this one is hardly a collectors item, but I'm good with the price for a Single Ring and maybe I'll be able to fix the case a bit.

Some single rings are heavier which can somewhat change the result of the shave. With a heavier razor you can get a more aggressive shave result due to the weight. However as i always disclaim, YMMV.
