These two 3-piece Gillettes look very similar. I'd sure appreciate some help identifying them. Thanks!

Ball End Old Types. They are FANTASTIC shavers.
the one on the left - silver, looks like it might be solid instead of a hollow tube. Does it feel heavier than the other one? It might an ABC Pocket Edition.

Nope. ABC did not make any razors of this type. While both razors are ball end pocket razors the one on the left is made up of 3 different razors.
The left razor appears to have a smooth ball end. That would be a Canadian made ball end.
The guard has the Gillette Diamond and Made in USA.
The cap has it's blade positioning posts more rounded. That is not a Gillette made cap but more like an ABC cap. Look at the posts between the two razors.
Do the razors have serial numbers?

The one on the left is definitely heavier. No serial number on either razor. I'm going to give them both a try. Fascinating ID on the three-razor source of the silver colored razor. Any idea what year the brass razor is?
If the brass one on the right had no serial, then it's one of the left over ones they gave away cheap in the late 20s to 1930 after they released the new improved as their flagship main razor and then later as the NEW was being released. edit: They probably weren't selling ball end olds when the goodwill was out in 1931 though
