I tunes help

Ok, I am not very computer savvy... not one little bit... so that being said I have I tunes installed on three different computers... and I would really like to have one song list.. I bought a external hard drive it is a Seagate and I believe it is 8 or 16 gb... every time I plug in the drive it asks do you want to back up... I dont really want to use it as a back up but just a drive that I can store Itunes on... any idea how to do this?

I have a Seagate too. I DO use it as a backup, so I like that it asks, but I know that there's a setting in there somewhere to not have it ask.

Worst comes to worst, you should be able to right click the drive and then format it to remove the back up utility. Then copy your songs onto it and be good to go.

I think what you are looking for is a network drive. I haave a WD network drive that does just what you are looking for. Its Plug and Play, It just appears as another drive to my computer.

Ok, thanks I will have to try that... but how do I actually move the songs to the drive?

Copy and paste the folder from its current location to the segate drive
