Ingrams is supposedly very cooling....try some Osage rub for an AS...Osage is a menthol bomb!

I just got a free tube sent as a bonus in a trade. I haven't used it yet but I was reading about it on B + B and pretty much everyone agreed in the thread that it has a bigger menthol kick than Proraso.

I love the menthol kick when putting on the proraso preshave. That wakes me up in the morning!
Why don't you get yourself a tub of menthol crystals?
Like you I also loved the menthol zing of proraso and wanted more. I poked around on this forum and saw some posts on menthol crystals. I got myself a tub and am loving it! You can add a few crystals to any shaving cream or soap (a few crystals on the tip of your brush bristles mid-way through lathering). It adds to the menthol burst on mentholated creams or introduces menthol into non-mentholated ones. I also add it to my aftershave and on really hot days I drop a few crystals into my hair lotion too and have this very special feeling of walking around feeling like my head is in an icebox!!!
Try it you will love it.

In addition, Palmolive menthol, Gillette menthol, and theshaveden's sub zero. Godrej and Proraso are among the best.

OK- I looked up this link and I see you have two choices- Standard Scent and Premium. You can choose from many different flavors and I see a menthol selection, but how do you select "strength 10"?
Bath and Body works has a similar product supposedly made by the same company that cost the same as well. The product is C.O. Bigelow.
When you order the menthol cream you should get an email from jean asking what level of menthol you want. Answer 10 and prepare to have your face frozen off!

I love menthol - thanks for the tip, I'm going to try the crystals. Right now I have Menta Arvensis and Menta Piperita essential oils that I dilute with water in a spray-top bottle - I give the bowl a few spritzes before I add cream/soap/etc to bump up the menthol. Maybe the crystals are stronger?
I haven't tried the oils that you mention so I can't make a fair comparison but IMO the crystals are much stronger. I only use about 4-5 crystals in a palm load of AS, and about the same in hair lotion - the menthol kick from that is substantial and keeps me buzzing for nearly 30 mins

Gentlemen's Best "Chilled" series has a nice cooling effect and a great scent too.
Yes its under the soap section under the standard fragrance. Sorry for the confusion as it is acctually more like a cream, sort of a soap cream hybrid.
