I decided to have an evening shave. Fiancee was taking an after-work nap, I hadn't shaved in a few days, had all the time I wanted, perfect time to enjoy it!

As I was lathering up some TOBS Grapefruit I wondered, "what does this stuff taste like?" I took a small dab on the tip of my finger, licked it, didn't taste like much. Finished my first pass, thinking about how it didn't taste soapy like I had figured it would. So I picked up the brush and gave it a lick. A bit soapier, but nothing like having my mouth washed out with soap as a kid. The taste of the grapefruit oil was definitely there.

I probably shouldn't even admit to having done this

So, has anyone else wondered what their shaving product tasted like? Anyone want to admit to it?

Some software just smells too darn delicious (TOBS Coconut anyone...?).

Just don't try licking your razor.

no, that's just silly ... ok, maybe I did this once. I don't know what possessed me to but I did haha! I also gave alum a little dab with the tip of my tongue once... ill never do that again, let me tell you!! maybe im strange but I just wonder what things taste like... (weirdo)

I've slightly licked my lip and caught the edge after using my alum--not pleasant. I cannot imagine licking it directly. I'm nauseous just thinking about it!

My worst experience was with MR GLO. Some got into the corner of my mouth. Wow. Bad. Stomach is twisting just remembering it.

A good shave foam LOOKS good, SMELLS good, FEELS good, and if you put it close to your ear, I am sure it has a very thick popping sound you can HEAR.

Notice which sense is missing? Don't eat your soap. TASTES bad!
