I finally got a lather catcher in a tin today. Did these sets come with 1 or 2 blades? This one came with only 1.

two blades, nice set. That is one of the last ones mades after 1902. Model HR 14A

Thanks for the info. Darn I thought I had a complete set maybe I will get lucky and find another in my travels.
Oh yeah there are lots of them around all the time (ebay). You can pick up the little blade tins that have one or two in them
Hard to find in the wild though and if I do see one in a vintage store, they are usually priced pretty high. Vintage junk sellers may not know razors, but they know old lithographed tins. What seems to be more rare are the replacement blades in their tin case - but I'm not usually looking for them.
Just missing one blade is nothing! Heck, I got only the head in one of mine.
