I've been thinking about this for awhile. I know there are things I like to use or do that I won't always admit to. I was wondering how else has a list.

I'll get started, I admit...

1) I actually like AOS soaps, yes even the new formula
2) The Progress is my favorite razor
3) I only do two passes and start against the grain

1) I'll admit to never doing anything more than a two-pass shave myself..
2) Also, to being unable to tell the difference between a wide variety of blades (Astra, Crystal, Personna, Feather, Shark, . . .)

As for AOS, a lot of people like AOS. Including me. It's the price I don't like.

2) C.O. Bigelow is my goto cream
3) TGN finest is my favorite badger hair
4) Gillette Tech and Weber polished are my goto razors
5) Personna Labs are my goto blades

I have developed CGAD.
I am starting to enjoy mild razors and occasionally skipping ATG.

Time is tight for me in the morning these days, so I resorted to Canned Goo, and with good results. My favorite scent is regular Foamy and I'm going to compare
Foamy menthol vs. Barbasol Arctic Ice or whatever it's called.

I admit it, at this point in my shaving life, i.e. the blade sampling phase, I find myself wishing I had could shave more frequently, i.e. multiple times a day.

1) I secretly hate/fear Personna Labs while I love Personna Med Preps, even though I can't tell the difference. I had a bad Lab once and now I'm paranoid.

2) I prefer SuperMax Super Platinum blades to Astra SPs (my go to blade), but I refuse to admit this to myself. The two blades feel identical while shaving, but the SMSP blades give me a slightly closer shave with slightly less irritation. I will deny ever saying this in the future.

I admit it....

I finally (after months) admitted to myself that I don't need to apply witch hazel, Myrsol Metilsol Astringent AS Splash, a regular AS lotion with alcohol, AND an AS balm to heal and moisturize after every shave. I've phased the Metilsol out for the most part..... the others I can't seem to give up. It seems my post shave routine is more about EMOTIONAL healing than PHYSICALLY healing the skin on my face. In fact.... I'll admit that for most shaves.... I probably don't need anything more than a cold water rinse and some AS balm .

I admit it, I have been prematurely throwing away razor blades to see a difference between personna and feather and that I like Kent's soap bowl better then Mitchell's ceramic.

I'll also admit to buying the Kent shave soap bowl knowing full well that it was the same soap as the Mitchell's Wool Fat that I had in the ceramic dish already. I told myself that I NEEDED both.... but I have only just last night lathered up a soap in my Kent dark oak bowl..... and it wasn't the Kent soap either.... it was a puck of Ralph Lauren Safari shave soap. Turns out that soap fits the Kent bowl perfectly.

1) My Feather AS-D1 is my perfect razor. I can shave with other more aggressive razors without irritation and cuts... but I just love the Feather razor, I don't care if other chaps call me a nancy boy for liking such a mild razor!

1) I can't do the same shave routine. I always have to switch things up from shave to shave. No matter how good my last one was.

2) I recently purchased 3 semogue brushes, but now that my Omega 10005 boar is broken in. I don't feel the need to use the Semogue's yet. (I know I will though)

3) I have to use menthol with every shave. Wether it's Proraso pre shave, QCS IKL, Menthol spiked witch hazel or an aftershave with menthol in it.

4) I do 3+ passes to strive for a BBS everytime.

5) I have 3 razors that I haven't gotten around to using yet

I admit it.....

I regularly use canned foam

I actually liked American Crew Classic Shave Cream, and was disappointed when it was discontinued

While I think American Crew Shave Gel is weird I like the menthol feel

It took me almost 18 months of DE shaving to actually feel comfortable with ATG passes on my neck and chin

On the days I have to go in to work early, I resort to disposables and canned foam

I think Cella is overrated, over scented sludge.
I think Feather blades are really nice but after the first shave, I'd rather use an Astra on its second run.

1) I have never attempted an ATG pass. My skin is raw enough after XTG, RXTG that I just never felt it would be worth the inevitable irritation

2) i do not enjoy the scent of the VEG. It did not choose me. However, every once in a while i feel the need to put it on and re-examine that strange scent. And each time, cat pee.
