What if you could get a magic laser hair removal treatment that would give you a permanent BBS face (assume you would never want a beard, mustache, goatee)...would you go for it? Or would the joy of shaving prevent you? All of your carefully collected razors, creams, soaps, and brushes obsolete. Would you rather never have to shave again?

That procedure already exists, costs a pretty penny, and leaves you looking like a eunuch. I'll take a hypothetical pass.
Now that I've had time to think about it if I had the time/money I think I'd opt to have a perfectly sculpted beard. That way if I felt like having a beard it would be perfect with no effort. I could trim it down to a goatee from time to time or just shave it all off. The best of both worlds.
I might would have said yes last year. Now; not so much. I enjoy my shave too much.
This is kinda like a tattoo, altering your body permanently deserves a second thought. You never know where your life will take you and what will make you happy in the future.

I would never in my life even think about removing my facial hair permanently.

No, as I want to have the option of growing a beard. In addition, I think a bit of "shadow" on your face is masculine.
But a couple of spots on the back if funding was not an issue...
If I was asked six months ago when I was still using my Mach 3, I would have said yes in a heartbeat.
If I was asked three months ago when I was using my HD and still having trouble with my sensitive neck, I would have considered it.
If I was asked now that I'm using my Slant Bar and have have finally managed to consistently get CCS shaves on my neck, relatively irrititation free, I wouldn't even consider it.

I guess I was asking if it was the result or the process of shaving that we like so much. I like the process too...and looking like a eunuch every 1 to 2 days
