How to save this one?

Hey all,

I'm not quite sure how I'm going to fix this brush. It looks as though the rubber ring came loose, and someone tried gluing it back onto the handle...

Any ideas on how to fix that? I've removed quite a lot of old glue from between the black area and the handle...

You may want to see if you can cut and Dremel the old knot out and see if you can remove enough of the old glue to get separation between the wood and the rubber. Sometimes that can happen on the plastic bottomed units and it is a good thing because you can glue it back together correctly.

It's sure seems like you do! How did you end up with so many tough projects at once?

Im looking forward to seeing what you do with this one. Pics of the progress would be awesome as well!

I guess I got "lucky" getting some brushes off an auction site. Problem is buying them (mostly) sight unseen. Many times, pictures don't do them justice - good or bad...

Between this one, the Dubl Duck and the Hess, I've got some work cut out for me...
