How to lose

How to get rid of them? Unfortunate thing is that I have a wrist injury so weights are not really an option right now. Light weights maybe.

I read in a couple different sources that Alcohol consumption will make em grow! I stopped drinking and dropped two cup sizes.:biggrin1:

I've been exercising for about 2 months, and my slight moobs have turned to solid muscle. I think it's the machine bench press that did it. And the butterfly exercise. The butterfly can be done with little stress on the wrists, at least on machines like mine - the insides of the elbows push against padding on the machine arms.

Earlier today I caught a bit of the TV show "Embarrassing Bodies." A man with barely noticeable man boobs was given an instant recommendation of surgery, which he had done. I thought that was pretty awful. The laughable thing is that *after* it was done they showed him working out in the gym. Better late than never I suppose. I know there are different causes of the condition, but I would have thought targeted exercise should be the first suggestion.

Please explain.

Soy actually promotes estrogen production in men. Fermented soy is alright, like soy sauce, but fresh soy actually is somewhat toxic to humans in the first place.

To get rid of man boobs, or moobs, you gotta lose weight. Check out the intermittent fasting thread, as I believe it to be easiest way to do this. Something like two 36-hour fasts during the week will do wonders. Be sure to work-out to hold onto muscle while cutting.

Remember, there is no such this as spot fat reduction. You can lift to build muscle beneath the fat and tone things up a bit, but aerobics like jogging/swimming/biking will give the slow steady calorie burn.

Also, if you drink lots of alcohol, it adds calories and promotes estrogen. So, cutting back on it will help.

I too am trying to get back in better shape. Best of luck

I suggest talking to your primary care doctor. See what he recommends. Sometimes exercise nor diet will help.

Losing body fat is the only thing that'll do it. You can still do back squats with an injured wrist so that'll work for some weight training. What kind of workout experience do you have?

I also suggest this to be sure the cause is from fat tissue and not enlarged breast tissue. Gyno could be the sign of a larger issue you may not be aware of.
