How Often Do These Pop up?

I was Wondering about this little guy, I see its suppose to be Stainless Steel, Is the Case only stainless Steel or is the Case and Razor Head Stainless Steel as well? Now this is a Hide Away, Better then Travel if you ask me I get this can get past TSA "NOT" that i will attempt it.

The heads are supposed to be sterling as well as the case, which is why their serial number ends in an "S." I've seen one or two come up in the last couple of years, but IIRC one of them had a standard silver-plated head with a regular serial number. Don't know if that means it was a mismatch or if they quit making the sterling heads at some point.

To be serious, this is really going to be one of those "as much as you're comfortable paying" sort of things. There's nowhere near a regular enough trade of them to get a baseline from. The straight melt value of that much silver would probably be somewhere around $50-ish, so you've got that as a floor. But, of course, to a razor nut it's going to easily be worth more than that.

In all seriousness, as Porter said, its as much as you're willing to pay. That razor just doesn't do much for me and I'm not trying to have a complete Gillette collection so I wouldn't pay more than $50, but for someone who wants it I'd say the price could be very high. Its a very rarely seen razor so if someone wanted it, then $300 seems perfectly reasonable to me based on rarity. I was ready to see this one go for closer to $500.

It would not have surprised me if it went to 500+ But the seller did have bad pictures, But I'm Pretty Sure its in better shape.
