I saw another go recently with a leather case for £198. They are really sought-after razors.

I have noticed the price of vintage British 7 O'Clock Gillette-era razors going up recently. They don't seem all that rare to me but they seem to go for more than the Gillette version of the same razor. It's possible that when two or three people want the same item for their collection a bidding war ensues. I'm not entirely sure why the prices would be as high as they are otherwise.

Yeah, same observation here. I have a nice one in a nice tin but saw another on ebay, watched for a while and decided I like the one I have very much.

As far as the Eclipse goes, it had to be the bakelite case, ever price bakelite bangles?
