Howdy friend!
Hope you don't mind if I answer you directly and I'm sure some of my other customers will chime in as well if they agree or disagree.
The shaving cream samples are 1/4oz and should last from 2 to 6 shaves depending on the cream itself, your brush, lathering skills and lathering technique. If you do 6 pass shaves using a massively dense large simpsons brush then you are looking at 2 shaves max. If you only do 2 passes with a normal size, normal density, edwin jagger or TGN knot brush then 4 to 6 shaves shouldn't be beyond the realm of possibility.
The shaving soap samples are 1/2oz and should last from 5 to 14 shaves depending on the soap itself and your brush, etc. It also makes a difference with the soap samples if you form the soap flakes into a puck or stick and rub it on your face or force/mold the shavings into a container/bowl and lather up. The puck/stick method should result in less flakes coming off on your face where as if you mold the soap flakes into a container and use too much pressure with the brush while loading you may end up breaking up the soap sample and not getting as many uses.
