How long do these things last?

I'm stocking up on a few items because you never know when a company will just stop making your favorite product. But I'm wondering about "shelf life" and longevity - How long do blades, shaving soaps & creams, and aftershaves keep?

usualy its between 12 and 24 months since you break the factory seal, but some soaps and creams have been known to last alot longer,

while some EDT´s and aftershaves will spoil if left open or exposed to light,

shaving soaps & creams, and aftershaves keep?

I have soap from 35+ years ago that is still working great. It's lost it's scent, but is otherwise still a top performer. Soap if kept in a dry location can basically last a long long time.

Shaving cream is effectively soap as well, and if sealed, and not allowed to dry out would probably last at least 5 years (perhaps more).

Sealed Aftershave could last indefinitely. I have used aftershave that is 20-40 years old, and it still smells strong, and lovely.
