How do you like your steak?

Hope all is well with U and your families. Just had a delicious steak dinner (grilled at the house) with the SWMBO, there is nothing better than a good steak. This got me 2 thinking, how does the B&B like their steak?

I'll start: I prefer ribeye steaks and it must be medium-rare. So, how 'bout you? What's your favorite steak? How do you like it? Rare? Medium-rare? Medium-well? Well-done?

Medium Rare for marbled cuts like Ribeye and NY. Rare for filet/tenderloin.

Medium Rare. I have never understood why people get Medium Well and Well Done. Might as well be eating fast food burgers at that point.

Interesting question, assuming its a good cut I prefer rare. Its just so tender that way

Medium rare ribeye, seared in butter a la Ruths Chris style.

Medium rare to rare for all steaks. If you want true ruths Chris style its done in an 1800 degree broiler with a 500 degree plate with melted butter, with only having a 1200 degree broiler I do my best at reproducing it with what I have.

a vote for rare here too! I sometimes like to melt some blue cheese on top... is that wrong?
