How do I glue the knot back into the handle?

I bought this brush as part of a shaving lot on ebay and when I received it the brush was a little loose. I forced it some and the knot came loose from the base. How can I best cement the knot back into the handle?

Devcon 5 minute two part epoxy. Available at just about any hardware store.
If you're gluing the knot in anyway, and you really like the handle but not the knot, you might consider upgrading the knot to something you'd really like.

What about JB Weld? Now that you mentioned epoxy. I really just want to get the knot back into this base. It is a no-namer; not worth going bananas buying another knot for.

I've never used JB Weld, though I have heard of some using it.
I can't speak to its effectiveness or lack thereof. I don't know what color it is or how easy it is to use.
I have used the Devcon and it works superbly, and with the dual syringe, it's quite easy to mix.
The clear color takes up a bit of slack in case there's just a tad of seepage or spillage.

I use Devcon, but JB Weld would work just fine, I'm sure. Mix just enough to coat the plug and the base of the recess and stick it back in. It'd be ready to use the next day. I just mixed a little to repair a cracked connector in my car and it behaves very much like Devcon 5 min epoxy.

JB Weld mixes black. Maybe I should use it for Lucite restores...

JB weld will work, just be sure not to use too much. Once it oozes out of the handle and gets on that hair, then it is difficult to remove in time.

I have used JB Weld in the past.

Beginner's luck I suppose. I had just enough JB Weld in there to make a nice, neat concentric bead around the edge.
