Hot Towel Warmers

Mmmmmm, for that price I'll continue to run hot water on my towel. While a hot towel is most enjoyable, it just is not worth the money and storage space for something like that in my house.

It's nice but it seems a little indulgent for me to buy for myself. I think if I had $250 for this I would rather give it to the Carnival of Smiles, or another charity, so it could do some good for others. I would feel guilty spending that much just to have warm towels in the morning when there are cheaper ways to get the same result.

Now if someone wanted to buy it for me. Well, that's a different story.

Just my opinion.

Y'know, when I see stuff like that I really begin to think that there are way too many people with way too much time and money on their hands.

Might a hot-rodded wipe-warmer suffice?

As a proud new father, I spend a lot of time at the changing table. We're going the cloth route, and the wife recently picked up a warmer for our cloth buttwipes. It's a sort of insulated box with some sort of electric heating element that holds damp wipes at a comfortable temp for midnight changings.

I hadn't thought much of it, and it hadn't occurred to me to check the thermostat setup, but I wonder if you could find a way to crank up the temp to "hot-towel" without too much, um, intervention ...

I mention this because they cost $30-$40, rather than $250.

This is why this community rocks. We went from a 260 towel warmer, to 90 bucks on the bay - to a wet wipe warmer for 20 bucks at amazon.

I can't leave out the microwaving, but microwaves do cost money too :).

HIGH FIVE GUYS! :a17:
