Hoffritz razor

So I dug through the basement and found the razor that my dad gave me in high school. I used it (or attempted) a couple times. Its been in a box for 22 years. It looks to have a very tiny line of rust on the edge, (which I don't see in this photo, might be on the other side)

Just wondering what the protocol is for getting it shave ready, because I'd like to give it a more serious try.

That's a nice razor... Send it to one of our many honemeisters here like whipped dog, maggard razors, doc226... Etc etc.. Buy a strop and rock and roll

That's what I figured...how much does honing typically cost and how often does it need to be done?

Also, any recommendations on strops?
