High mountain white knot

Has anyone used the High mountain white knot from the golden nib??? if so can you say if its worth it? can you give your experience with it? Im thinking of getting the 24 for the Rubberset 400 restore. what is the best knot that you have gotten if the High mountain white wasnt the best.

I'm interested in any information about the TGN HMW knot also. I've used a few TGN Finest knots in the past and didn't really like them.

so I found this on the inter webs...

Manchuria is a country on the border with China, badgers ravage the crops and are considered pests, are harvested by the farmers who in turn eat the badgers and sell the pelts to the companys that make badger Knots, who in turn sell the knots to purveyers of said knots, who in turn give them names such as High mountain Badger, queen of everest Badger, sri lankan badger, Bill gates badger etc.
Granted there are differant grades, the best of which is silvertip which comes from the neck area of the badger.
You see the neck hair is the best because badgers live in cold country, somtimes even hibernate for short periods,so the neck hair keeps the blood flow thru the carotid arterys warm that feeds the brain (60% of all blood flow go's to the brain in most Mammals)
So that being said, should a badger be killed two ft over the Manchurian Border,it is a manchurian badger,If on the china side it is just a regular badger, thats the rest of the story

I would stick with TGN. They are very esteemed around here, and I can tell you from experience, that their knots are fantastic. I don't get the whole HMW or Manchurian thing. There has been much debate about this in another thread on this forum, so I won't revisit that topic. A lot of people like the Silvertip Grade A from TGN and the TGN Finest. I would probably stick with one of those two because everyone who has them seems to love them. I have multiple TGN Finest in my collection and I can say that I am a happy customer. I have never tried the Silvertip Grade A only because I try to stick with only 2-bands. But there are a lot of fans of this knot around here.
