Help to identify Super Speed

Hello friends! I am new in Badger And Blade and I would like to congratulate you all for the great forum.

I recently bought a Super Speed to rotate with my Merkur 23C but I still did not identify its year/submodel. It was made in Mexico and it has the letter B on the left and the number 3 on the right.

Could you help me? Thank you!

Welcome to B&B. We hope you enjoy your stay and learn new things. Gillette had many operations around the world and Mexico was one of them. The razor you have has a date code that you can match up with in the Gillette date codes list that B&B has made available. It is very informative and it many great links that are fun to research and learn. Here is a partial listing that you can match up with and determine any Gillette razors date. http://wiki.badgerandblade.com/US_Gillette_Dating_Information

1950-1988 (letter codes)

The single-letter date codes are accompanied by a number, which corresponds to the quarter of the year. So 'O-1' means 1969, January-March. Date codes on blades (see above) also continued through this period.
