Help ID this Badger Hair

Hey Everyone, I need some help. I picked this up at a flea market today for 3 bucks. It looks nice, but I don't know what type of badger hair it is or who makes it, how old it is, etc... There are no markings on the brush, and the handle looks like ivory, but I'm not certain. If anyone can help id it, I'd be grateful.

Thanks,
Chad

Hmm. I am no brush historian, but the handle shape looks a lot like a Kent V5. But all the V5's I've seen are butterscotch color. The hair looks great. While grading differs from manufacturer to manufacturer, that's a pretty clean looking silvertip to me. The tips are uniformly silver.

I, too, was going to say that it's a Kent brush, just from remembering the look of the handle. It's definitely vintage, but was probably stored somewhere out of all light for a very long time (I think light is what turns the handle a butterscotch color overtime). Kent doesn't label their knots as such, but it is most decidedly silvertip badger.

That brush would have been a great buy at ten times the price that you paid for it-- GREAT snag!!

Ok, so I noticed on the bottom of the brush, there ARE some faint markings. There is a drawing of a buffalo with the word buffalo written under it. Does this mean its a buffalo horn handle, or a company called Buffalo? I googled this and found nothing about a company, but the brush doesn't look like any with a buffalo horn handle, either. Any ideas?
