Given that this has more in common with straight razors than modern day safety razors, I thought I'd put this in this forum. Moderators should feel free to move it over if they disagree. It's a C.V. Heljestrand Kindal 7-day (days in Swedish) safety razor set complete with strop and leather box. I've spent the past few hours working on cleaning and setting the bevel on the blades. I'm going to work on the last blade and call it a day. Interestingly, the set comes with a handle attachment that I assume is either for honing or using the razor more like a straight.
I cleaned the box pretty well but the inside of the lid still needs some stain removal. Is this possible? It's a thin material much like that found in similar boxes for Gillette safety razors.

. The handle holds pretty firmly, at least enough so to hone.
