Looking to stock up on some stuff that's harder to come by in the US. Any recommendations? Will be mainly in Italy and Paris, short time in London.

Great question!! We are going to be there mid-August. I too am eager to hear what people suggest!
For good selection and good prices, Italy is right where you want to be..! Spain is entirely worth while in both regards too. London and Paris will be more expensive, and offer a wider selection mainly of higher end brands (like TOBS, G Trumper and artisan stuff ... like, the most expensive shaving soap I ever bought was a small puck of artisan donkey milk soap, in Paris).
Of course it all depends on what you're after .... but excellent and very reasonably priced Italian and Spanish brand soaps, boar brushes and aftershaves are easily available, like Proraso, Omega, Furbo, Floid, La Toja, Lea, various alum ....
Your best bet is to search out larger drug store type vendors. I am better familiar with Canada than the US, but the likes of London Drugs and Shoppers Drug Mart in Canada ... or Boots in the UK ... Here you will get the best prices, and often a very good selection too.
Have fun! And perhaps you could post some pictures of all the treasures you find upon returning home ...

Just go to every esselunga, tigota and piume you can find and check the shaving aisle. You’ll thank me later.

I do plan on finding an Italian barbershop and getting a straight razor shave. Hope I don’t get whacked!
