I lately sold my Rooney Heritage Emillion as I removed the "slow movers" from my collection.
I loved the Emillion handle, but had better 2 Band knots than that specific heritage knot. So I knew I had to get another Emillion ... just with a different knot. Since Thäter and Simpson unfortunately do not sell their 2 band knots separately I went with a WSP "Super Fine" 2 Band knot that I had already good experiences with ("Prince", "Monarch", "Stubby brushes I own) and asked Rudy Vey, if he could make an Emillion brush for me...
The result is this marvelous "Dark Knight" Emillion...
58mm tall with the WSP 23mm knot set at a 48mm loft... This is just the sweet spot for this knot (the production brushes come with either a 46 or 53mm knot, which both seem inferior to me than a 48-50mm loft).
The WSP 2 Band knots have very soft tips with great backbone. I used the knight this morning with Czeck & Speake O&C... a great combination!
Below some pics and thanks to Rudy Vey for another masterpiece!!
