Have any of you tried a shaving soap for ladies?

In a flurry of hurried activity, I bought a can of lady's Klar Siefen at Pasteur's. I did not realize my error until at home I reached for it to lather - it was fine, excellent in fact. My question is what differentiates a women's shaving soap from a guy's?

I don't know, but as an amateur soapmaker, I envy their production gear - http://www.klarseifen.de/shop/en/OUR-FAMILY-BUSINESS/MANUFACTURING/

Actually, clicking around their site suggests that they're almost the same, with the exception of scents and the addition of glycerin to the women's formula. Depending on how the lather is, the extra glyverin might be preferable.

Their classic shaving soap ingredients:

Sodium Cocoate, Potassium Cocoate, Sodium Stearate, Potassium Stearate, Aqua, Cocoamidpropyl, Betaine, Soyamide DEA, Parfum, Sodium Chloride, Beta-Alanine Diaecetic Acid, Trisodium Salt, Sodium Hydroxyde, Potassium Hydroxyde, Linalool, Limonen, Benylbenzoate, Coumarin, CI 77891

I bought my wife Klar Seifen Ladies soap. I've used it a couple of times. I think the addition of glycerine in the ladies soap is a good thing. Excellent soap.

I was gonna venture the same guess. Different fragrances/scent and extra lubrication.
