I'll say it's solved the problem of razor bumps for me as well as being cheaper in the long run compared to my old triple blade razor.

It solved razor bumps and seems to be solving ingrown hairs.
It has increased my problems in the morning. I have less time to do other things and there is no way I am waking up earlier than I do now with 3 kids.:001_smile

I never had any problems to get rid of.

I have acquired one though. My wife now thinks I'm even more sad then when I got into headphones to enjoy my music in peace.

I haven't saved any money either, as I spend the cart savings on AS and cream/soap.

But, like finding relaxation time with my music, it's enjoyable, and tunes me out for a while in the morning. It's nice to feel, and smell good afterwards.

DE wet shaving solved my razor burn problems. I get a comfortable shave, and turned a chore into a wonderful hobby (my wife would say obsession :blushing:).

The only problem: I spend WAY too much money on shaving soaps, brushes, and aftershaves. Totally worth it though! :w00t:

My wife says she has ben replaced. But she does say it is nice to see me taking better care of myself. DE shaving has me losing weight and taking better care of skin. No more razor bumps or burn. Redness in my cheeks is gone. I am quite happy with the results!

Nah, didn't solve any problems as I didn't have any to start with.

Now I have addictions... new problem...

but...

I now enjoy shaving...

One cancel the other one!

I used to think that my upper lip and neck were very sensitive. after a couple of months of DE shaving I realized that they were just irritated from a mach 3...for 10 years.

The main problem it solved was saving me from the tedium, stubble and facial irritation that resulted from my electric razor. Now I actually enjoy a shave that is closer after ten hours at the office than what it used to be when I left for work in the morning.

Solved my problems paying ludicrous cash for cartridges that didn't last, and canned goo that burnt my face and constantly provided rashes a baby's butt would be proud of.

However it has now replaced them with obsessions of various creams, soaps and razors.

All part of the give and take cycle of life.

DE shaving solved my irritation problems. However, better technique with my Mach III maybe would have solved them as well.

DE solved my shaving problems.

But I seem to have picked up this acquisition disorder....

What Erik said :biggrin1:

I lost count of the number of times I said "God, I HATE shaving" when I was using cartridges and canned goo - from Sensors up to the first version of the Fusion, from Gillette Foamy up to whatever name the latest Gillette gel goes by. Don't get me started on my days of using an electric...

Since I got the hang of DE shaving, I look forward to shaving so much that sometimes I even do it twice a day - in the morning and after work on nights when I go out for drinks or dates, or when I just want to come home clean shaven for SWMBO. Ingrown hairs and razor burn are a thing of the past (well, I get the odd ingrown a day or so after I do an ATG pass, which is rare), and in general my skin looks and feels much better.

I just got over my RAD and ASAD, and am now almost over my RBAD - I keep justifying it by comparing DE blade prices to cartridge prices.

I don't know if it's really solved anything in real terms. I was using soap and a brush with my Gillette GII for years. The only real problem I had was a patch of irritation on my neck. I didn't know it at the time but this was due to the direction of hair growth being the opposite to the rest of my neck so I was shaving against the grain. I can now shave irritation free with the GII as well.

I suppose the issue that caused me to look at alternative razors in the frst place was the fact that most local stores have stopped stocking Gillette GII cartridges but DE blades are still available has solved one problem. The fact that they are cheaper is an added bonus. In reality, I tend to alternate between Bic sensitive and my DE.

It's definitely solved a problem for me :001_smile

I'm not too badly affected by MS when I'm in remission, but I frequently wake in the morning with numb or cramped hands that that can take quite a while until they're usable. So to make sure that I can get to work in time, I set my alarm to two hours before I need to leave for the office.

Most days I don't have a problem other than killing time before leaving home, so DE shaving has given me an enjoyable means of occupying that time.

Of course, it has.
DE shaving simply gives MUCH better shaves and my skin feels healthy, clean, soft and smooth.:thumbup1:

DE shaving has solved many problems for me...

  1. In the long run it will save me a small fortune in shaving consumables. I have my "go to" cream sorted and my "go to" brush. Just got to get the blade pinned now.
  2. I am now getting a comfortable shave. No longer do I suffer from burn, bumps and ingrown hairs. Also I don't suffer from itchyness if I let my stubble grow for a day. I just wish I could do something about the scars left by years of in grown hairs.
  3. DE shaving has made me take more pride in my appearence and whilst my personal hygiene was more than adequate for some reason I am now taking extra special care over it.
