Jon, I believe it's a european brand...I saw a brush a while ago...it was an absolute monster! HUGE knot...from what I recall, it's an expensive brush...

Acca Kappa is an Italian brand. In all likelihood Omega makes the brush. Try the colognes they are great.

Acca Kappa is the largest brush manufacturer in Italy. The company started out as a brush manufacturer 140 years ago. They're like the Kent of Italy in that they make all kinds of very high quality hair brushes, clothes brushes, toothbrushes, etc. They're known for using high quality hair/bristles and exotic wood handles. They were the official brush supplier to the ruling House of Savoy in Italy. The company even has a warrant from Queen Elizabeth as a supplier of brushes to the Royal Family.

I came across Acca Kappa about 15 years ago when I was consulting on a project in which they wished to become a retail tenant. They had just completed expanding the company into a "lifestyle" company that sold their own perfumes, colognes, lotions, skin care products, toiletries, bathroom accessories, etc. as well as brushes. Their marketing emphasis was on quality of ingredients and manufacturing and they wanted to aggressively open boutique stores world wide. I haven't followed the company closely, but I know that they have many boutiques in places like Las Vegas, New York, Los Angeles, Toronto, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Kuala Lampur, London and Roma. They are a major supplier to the Four Seasons hotel chain (as well as other top hotels) for soaps, lotions and shampoos.

As far as brushes go, they're definitely not cheap. I couldn't tell you if they're worth the money.
I've actually seen that brush before (it's very distinctive), but I don't remember when or where since I had little interest in shaving goods until recently. It may have been 15 years ago.
