Bought a 6/8 "Not a Replica" version from Baxter of California. It performed so well I added a 7/8 polished square point. A very capable but plain Jane straight.
I love mine. I have a 7/8 square point and it looks and shaves great. It's the only new straight I own; the others are all vintage. And it's probably the only near wedge I'll keep. The others are all at least half hollow or more ground.
I really like my 7/8 Square point. I prefer my Japanese-style (non-folding) str8's, but the Hart's weight is great and it feels good in hand. Their customer support is also outstanding!
I have three Hart razors in my stable currently and love all of them.
My most recent. I picked it up last Christmas when they released some limited editions.
I have a 7/8 square point. It is a high quality tool which I don't plan on removing from the den.
It is one of the few heavy grinds that I have as I mostly use 1/4 or full hollow. But it is definitely and impressive razor and I'm glad I was able to pick one up.
Plain looks, phenomenal steel. One of my best shavers. I have a 7/8 square point and highly recommend it. If you like heavy grinds, it's quite possibly the best choice out there, new or vintage. The edges hold up really really well.
I have five, so obviously I think the are great! Nice weight, 1/4 hollow grind, and come "straight" (no warp, spine issues, etc. from the factory, which makes honing easier).
