Harris vs Tobs ?

I was reading the thread Trumpers or Harris and as it looks like Harris is a clear winner I was wanting to know how does Tobs rate against Harris?
Looking to try something new, so far I have only used Omega, Arko, Proraso and Tabac and more recently Tobs and I do like the reviews of Harris.
Your feedback much appreciated Gents.

I only have DR Harris Lavender. I prefer it over cella, arko and tabac. But only by a small margin.

I have Harris Windsor and Arlington....both are excellent, but I prefer Windsor. Never tried TOBS but I hear that they make excellent creams but I prefer soaps.

I have both of these on the way...YAY for me!

I also agree with David: Harris>TOBS>Trumpers (unless you are lucky enough to get the pre-2009 Trumpers, which was FANTASTIC and would blow TOBS out of the water!!!).

For soaps especially. Rankings for the creams are more of a wash.

Tried both. My vote goes to Harris.
Far superior over TOBS IMVHO.

Harris is more moisturizing. TOBS has some great scents but it is just not as protective and moisturizing as many other soaps. I would like to see them work on new formulas rather than new scents in the same formula. A line like Razorock and Sterling go through new soaps and new generations of soaps and improve on the past which is nice to see.

Note your Tabac is better than Harris and TOBS. I would look at the Sterling line for some incredible performance and prices, Panna Crema and Razorock XX to stay in line with Tabac. Mike's would be a better choice than those two.

D.R. Harris soaps are excellent. In my opinion, they along with MWF and Floris, are the best of the English soaps. T&H, GFT, and TOBS make excellent creams; their shaving soaps, notwithstanding some excellent fragrances, all rank low on performance.

Harris is undoubtly No 1, then Taylors and thereafter Trumpers far behind.

It can vary depending on who you ask but I'd put DRH over TOBS in terms of performance. That said, you always have to try for yourself no matter how much you read. If one soap was universally best then we'd all use that soap.
