GunBot.net - An efficient way to shop for ammo

Found this today:

Scours the net for ammo prices so you can find the best deal. I used it to find 7.62x54 surplus. Was about to order from cheaperthandirt.com and found another seller for $30 less (of course cheaper than dirt isn't any more).

Thank you for the recommendation. It's sad how much inflation there has been with ammo lately. I haven't been able to go to the range as often as I used to the past few months because of the price increase as well as the lack of places to buy ammo.

It's sad to see CCI Mini Mags going for $50-70 a x100 pack. Just got some at Gander this week for $7. The first I've seen all year!

Yeah, 100 CCI MiniMags 22lr were' $11.99 at my brother's shop today...

The most annoying part is that distributor prices haven't gone up. When my brother gets ammo from his distributors, the price is normal "pre-panic" pre-Newtown/Aurora/etc. prices, and he sells them for normal prices...most places, however, aren't so honest and just jack em up due to low supply. Same goes for firearms and accessories. A Glock 17 should still cost $550-600, if the store is charging more than that, they're ripping you off, because dealer price has not risen.

That is very interesting to know.
