great idea, but no. I don't believe the main character found any peace through murder, nor do I think it won any Oscars.

I think that movie could have been at least as good as it was
if it had been called Clown,
and if the story had taken place in New York City,
and if the millionaire had been Vanderbilt or Rockefeller or something like that
and if it had nothing to do with DC comics.

Good idea too, but no Oscar either as far as I remember. However, like V for Vendetta, it's also loosely based on a comic book.
