Griffon XX "Carbo-Magnetic 60" 5/8

I am considering this razors and would appreciate your recommendation about this razor. Any good? American razor made in Germany? Do they shave well?

I’ve had a different model Griffin. They’re fine razors.

I bought that model of Griffin to use for honing practice. That meant shaving with it repeatedly to evaluate how I did honing it. As I got my honing mojo in order that razor gave me consistently great shaves. I would definitely recommend it for regular use (or honing practice).

I have one too. Nice blade. No complaints here. If the price is right for your pocket book, I'd say go for it.

My Griffin is one of my favorite razors. Takes a great edge, fine balance, and a work horse...

Unfortunately the razor had some pitting on the edge and I declined. Will wait for another to come to me...

Haven't honed mine yet (different size), but the finish and grind are really well done. Definitely going to be a singer.
If the pitting at the edge was too deep, that is unfortunate. I've had some ugly razors that were great though once the bevel was reset.
