Great shave this morning!

Sometimes you have a great shave, and you just want to tell the world. Got a new (to me) 2011 Mühle R41 from a fellow B&B brother. Popped in a new Personna Blue Lab, and got my first ever BBS shave. My beard is a nasty beast, and I thought I'd never find a combination that worked, but man, this thing just mowed those hairs down like a boss! Of course, such an aggressive combination deserves respect, and I had to white-knuckle the fourth (ATG) pass, but here I am two hours later with no burning, no lingering irritation and no stubble in any direction. Got a couple small weepers, but they were all gone before I even had a chance to splash 'em with aftershave.

Anyone like me who has a tough beard and somewhat sensitive skin, I'm here to tell you, there's hope after all!

My best shave, to date, was with my Gillette NEW long comb with a used (3-4 times) Gillette 7 O'clock SharpEdge blade, after about 5 days of growth. First pass I was as clean as any first pass (the NEW really mows it down!) and then after another pass and an ATG on my neck, I was BBS all over and the shave lasted a LONG time.

I also have somewhat sensitive skin, mostly my neck, which is also where my beard grows in every direction possible!

I've got a NEW long comb. Short comb, as well. I've tried a multitude of razors. To date, nothing has worked for me as good as what I got this morning. I've had some really nice shaves using different combinations of my fatboy and my 2013 R41, but this morning was all 2011 R41, and it was nice.
