Got the wife hooked

So the wife has been very supportive of my venture into wet shaving, and really liked the idea. She ran out of carts the other day and asked me to use one of my DEs. After a quick overview I whipped up some TOBS avacado in a bowl, handed her one of my 40's Superspeeds, and away she went. Well she liked it the first time, loved it the second time, and today asked me to find a ladies DE! Went to the bay and picked up a pristine 63 lady gillette in blue for $45. As I type this she is searching for shaving soaps, mikes natural site right now. Any suggestions for more lady like scented soaps/creams?

Well done! I've been trying to get my wife to let me shave her legs one time, telling her she'll want to do it too, but no luck yet...
Maybe something in a rose or lavender scent? Or the newer TOBS grapefruit

Not sure about women specific shave soaps but my wife loves all of the TOBS more organic smells (like avocado and lavender) and while I haven't been able to get her to use a DE yet, she switched over to the traditional soaps.

Please PM me the secret. I have been trying to get my Wife going but she will not give in. I have bought her a progress, both vintage lady Gillette's and ordered her the new Feather becasue of the superior mildness. So far no luck with an actual shave but she does love me to whip up the Bigelow shave cream for her to use with her Venus cartridge razor.

I have TOBS avacado, grapefruit, and razorock chianti lavender that she likes. She hates rose scents (says it smells like an old lady). Haha she's now looking at the QCS stuff, lol, no guidance from me, just googling away.

The secret was not to push it on her. A tactic I've learned over the 14years we've been together. I just talk about how much I've been enjoying it, describe the products and ingredients and benefits. Next thing you know, she starts asking questions. Then the price of blades comes up, she runs out of carts, is reminded of the prices of carts, gives it a shot with a mild razor and proper lather. Deal is sealed.

I got my wife converted from a savings/environmental standpoint. She didn't like how much the cartridges cost any more than I did. She also didn't like throwing out all the plastic from the cheap disposables. She loves her blue Lady Gillette and I got her some Cella (from the 1kg brick). It's a nice sweet scent she really likes and it's mild enough that it doesn't bother her migraine-prone head.

when I Started, My Second Soap was Mama Bears Lavender and Vanilla. Great soap!! mama bear has many scents to offer, your wife may want to look there.

mike makes great scents that my wife loves. rose, lily of the valley, hungarian lavendar, lavandin and eucalyptis are all tops as my wife prefers floral scents

Wrinkles, mamma bears was a very good recommendation she's loving the selection, Volley, I agree she has selected quite a few candidates from mikes shop. I have a feeling she is in the beginning stages of SCAD, SSAD. :001_tt1:

Lucky man. My wife is still in the "I think you're crazy" stage, so its going to be a while for me.

My wife only lets me do it and I have to use a straight as that gives her the smoothest legs with the least irritation...
