What's new

Got Speick today!

Yep. I started out with Speick, and if I really wanted to be a budget-conscious shaver and get rid of most of my stuff, I could just use Speick cream and AS and be a very happy man.

Speick is so wonderful. I started out with the shaving cream and now I have the whole range. Great products. You will be very happy with it!

So the verdict!

Scent was nice. It really needs to be out of the tube and lathered, I think it smells different than when it is in the tube. Nice and refreshing.
Lather was terrific. Very easy.
Shave was also terrific with my (yellow) 7'oclock blades.

Overall I think in general, I prefer Tabac (at least the smell), but the world would be boring if I used the same shaving cream or soap every day. So this is definitely in the regular rotation :001_smile

Of course, the ultimate test is the girlfriend, to see which she prefers. Then my decision could be made for me. :blushing:

Thanks for the recommendation!

Shaved w/ my new tube yesterday(Super Iridium blade in my Blue Lady) and it was a great shave!

Funny how I'm just getting around to purchasing Speick- but it was worth the wait!

I think it's 2 Euros in Germany but 4.50 here in Holland, so I think its the best mass market cream in Europe :thumbup1:. Best budget cream is Rilanja at 0.99 cents :w00t:.

Take the "sh" from "wash" or "posh" or "lush" and add a "pike" to that.

Also - if you like the Speick cream, give the Muehle products a try. It's pretty much the same performance and lather, but with different scents.

If you say it with a bit of a scottish accent you'll sound like Sean Connery. haha. and thats great.

Really a very good cream, with a very protective slick that tolerates more than a few passes.

I like it a lot. I call it the 'German Experience' when I shave with my Merkur Trac II and the Speick. Lame as it gets, yes, but I don't care.
