What's new

Got My Aristocrat today

Why did they stop making razors like this? I am a bit torn should I shave with it or not? What say you? I might have to find another one...

I was looking at that one...very nice...congrats! I think it would be OK to shave with it...the ones a try not to shave with are the NOS. Just because once you shave with it then it is no longer NOS. You did good....that razor really looks great.

+1

I have maybe 9 or 10 razors I won't use. Everything else is fair game.

If I buy them, I shave with them. There are those with collections and I can understand the appeal. But I enjoy having a variety of razors and prefer them to be in decent condition. The question you need to ask is; what will give you more pleasure, looking at it or shaving with it?

Guys, if you don't shave with them you will not know what you are missing. I snagged an Aristocrat a couple of weeks ago and got my first shave with it this week. All I can say is that the Aristocrat is now my go to razor. Close shave. No rash or burn. Just a great BBS shave. Repeated now for the last four days.

Good luck and enjoy the razors.

Hell yeah, shave with that bad boy!!!

If you're looking for an investment, just take $100 and spread it among 10-30 penny stocks and don't look at them for about 20 years. Who knows, you might end up a millionaire. A millionaire that shaves with a darn fine vintage razor and has for years:lol:

I have not used it yet. I have been switching off between my Bull Mastiff TTO custom, and my 1953 Gillette superspeed. I might use it this coming week. Thanks for the intrest.

I use them all, NOS or not. I consider my collection to be a "working" set. I get joy from using them, which is why I have them. :001_smile
