Thanks! I don't know if it shows up on other's monitors but there should be a slight texture to the dark background. This was shot on a paper background but it goes to solid black pretty quickly on some displays.

I do see some texture there possibly a little noise as well. What ISO did you shoot this at?

I see the fall of light but only slight texture on my studio monitor, light it across the grain with a tight grid for more texture (altho i don't think this shot needs it)

My mistake, I misread your post and thought you said here was not supposed to be texture, hence why I asked about ISO.
