Good "ARKO" Purchase - For Canadians

It's always a pain shopping for certain things in Canada. Especially as our shipping/postage is so expensive. Anyway I was just trolling though Amazon.Ca and came across this 12 count of Arko sticks. Super price including shipping = $12.60. So I pulled the trigger.... I don't know how many this vendor has left, check em out.

Cool! That is even better than the Turkish shop here in the city (but the shopkeeper would maybe give a discount, and a funny look, if I would be buying twelve at once).
 
nothing left when I went to go check :( I won't be adding to my stockpile today... but probably a good thing as I haven't even opened the Arko I have at home.

Wow, thanks for sharing, it has rekindled my interest in amazon.ca, which I have largely ignored since their prices are ridiculously high on the stuff I like.
 
Very nice deal. Cheapest I'm getting them for here in the US is $1.70/stick on Amazon.
Interestingly enough, even with international shipping, it looks like the total is just over $17CAD (just over $16USD if you have a foreign transaction fee-free credit card), which is $1.34USD/stick. It would probably take forever and a half to arrive, though.
 
Apparently this is a listing error and should only be for 1 stick, which is what I got. Emailed them and they are refunding the payment.
 
I emailed them too last night after getting 2 sticks and not 24 as ordered. They offered a) partial refund or b) send the shipment back for full refund. I opted for the partial. It was too good to be true.
 
Wouldn't you think that after one mistake and complaint letter, they would have corrected whatever glitch in the system is sending out 1 stick instead of 12? I could see chalking up this kind of mistake to human error, but for it to have happened the same way, so many times in a row probably involves a computer.

You would think, however it could also be a "mistake" where someone is trying to lie about the amount they are selling in an effort to just make some quick money.

Sorry guys I'm the original poster. I genuinely thought this was a good deal, until I opened my box and there was only one. Yer they agreed to give me a 11/12th refund, but only after they had deducted the shipping costs. So at nearly $7 for a stick of Arko it wasn't such a great deal, again I apologize to anyone who purchased because of this thread. And please as the previous poster mentioned, leave feedback on Amazon.ca. I just did and it certainly wasn't glowing.

All I received from them was a LONG cancellation email saying that they had cancelled my order because they had run out of stock and that every single one of their suppliers had, too.
 
I too got 11/12th refund on 2 sticks. What started off as a great deal ended up as a waste of $$. Arko at twice the price of any other retailer. I am waiting to see the refund transaction go through before leaving feedback.

Contact the online.ca store customer service. It is the online.ca store that covers the incompetent seller. It is online.ca that is ultimately responsible.

The shipping rates and terms for the seller are clearly stated in their online.ca page.

Did I mention that everyone should leave feedback?
