Golden Nib know for face lathering

Just picked up a MADE RITE U.S.A. NYLON 23 Shaving Brush. I am thinking about replacing the know with a badger knot. Just wondering what would be a good knot for face lathering or using with soap.

I have a 20mm silvertip, and a 22mm pure badger(Majestic handle) TGN knots, both face lather well.

I have a silvertip set at 48 and know it to be one of my favorites. My buddy Keith made it for me and it works really well with soaps. Here's the thread. Vita also recently did a GN Pure set at 46 which I found to be too short for those stiffer hairs.

I've reknotted four handles with TGN knots and can highly recommend both the best and finest knots for face lathering. You can see a number of reknotted brushes in this thread. Mine are in post #134.

I have used 2 x 20mm Two-Band and 1 x 22mm Two-Band from TGN and they have all worked out great. The best face-lathering knot I have gotten from there though is the 22mm black badger--it is a beast.

Finest w/ extra hair! So dense and awesome. I have 3 brushes from Rudy with this knot. Face-lathering goodness!

Those do look nice, will have to keep that one in mind, and maybe set it at a 55mm loft.
