Over the years I've read about some razors being put together using various parts from different models. Seems like I recently found one of those in this 1956 Diplomat, and maybe some of you will have some input about this thing.
As you can see, the handle bottom is silver. In addition, the area above the knurling is also silver in color. I'm guessing those parts may be rhodium plated and taken from a President.
