Gold Plating and Rubbing Alcohol

I always swish my razors in alcohol, however I never had a gold plated razor till now...

Should I stop using rubbing alcohol or is there no adverse affects on gold plating?

Regular rubbing alcohol will not hurt the gold plating.

I'm using 91% alcohol as a 10 minute soak everyday for mine without any problems.
