Once upon a time I used one puck of Gold Dachs. It produced a rich lather and gave me an excellent shave. I liked the fragrance, too.
I found three problems with Gold Dachs, however:
1. I ordered it from a vendor who sent it in a travel can that was so banged up I thought it must have come out of a war, with the only thing missing being a bullet hole.
2. I found the price excessive and promised myself not to use it again.
3. The main problem with it for me was that it set my face on fire. I had the same reaction to Musgo Real. Something in these soaps irritates my Hollywood face.
By the way, I have kept the travel can as a reminder that some vendors need to be a touch more discerning in what they mail out to gentlemen shavers.
