Givenchy L'Interdit

Gents, in the scent of the day thread, I mentioned that Givenchy Vetyver has been reissued. They also reissued Givenchy L'Interdit. This feminine scent was custom made for Audrey Hepburn in 1954. Ms. Hepburn urged Hubert Givenchy to release it to the general public. He was hesitant to do so until 1957. I never smelled the vintage juice but this reformulated juice is quite feminine with a hint of strawberry. Pick up a bottle for your gal at Dillards. It's worth it.

I checked at the Galleria Dillard's in Houston, and they don't carry it in-store. But it's now "in the mail" from their on-line store. :thumbup1:

Nice!

I don't understand why some stores don't carry what's on their website. Neiman Marcus does not carry Aramis Havana at their stores but it's on their website.

Neiman Marcus in Houston must get Havana in small quantities. They have had it a time or two and I finally was able to pick up a bottle from them, then they were out for a while. I haven't checked recently. The SA's don't always know what the status is, either.

I just wanted to update this thread. I was able to find a vintage bottle of this juice. Now I know why this was Audrey Hepburn's signature scent. This stuff blows me away. It is quite feminine. It is along the same line of Chanel No. 5. Gents, do yourself a favor and pick up a bottle for your significant other.
