I'm looking for a cologne with a gin note (I've given up on ever finding Knize Sec) and the only one I can up with is Frapin L'Humaniste. First, anyone tried it, and second, are there any others to consider?

I hear Creed Windsor is supposed to have a gin note.
Or you could always drink a lot of Sapphire or Beefeater and have it come out of your pores! But that's probably not what you're going for

Go to TPC, do a search-by-note, and look for juniper....you'll get a whole list.

I did take a look through TPC -- other than the Frapin stuff, it's hard to tell which have the juniper front and center. What I'm looking for is something like an Eau de Tanqueray.
I used to enjoy mixing gin scents. I tried layering Pens English Fern while polishing off a 26 ouncer of Tanqueray.
It was all good until the tequila notes started to appear.
If you don't find what you are after, perhaps Google some of the home made scent recipes that can be made with gin.

Windsor does have a light gin note in the top notes, but it is quickly overcome with green/floral/fruit notesI hear Creed Windsor is supposed to have a gin note.

Funny you mention Bombay
THe absolute best gin cologne, absolutely zero doubts about it, is Bombay Sapphire Infusion. I have 6 bottles of it (only comes in shotglass-size bottles)
I'm no expert yet, but I know Windsor has gin as a top note. As such, I wonder it the gin "note" is a more fleeting sort of note that doesn't make for a long lasting scent.
But, if Bombay makes a scent, that would have to the one to try.

Thanks to the suggestions above, I did track down the Bombay EdT. It was exactly what I was looking for.
Good to hear. The gin note in Windsor is very brief and would hate to have seen you pop for that and be pissed off. Does it last awhile in the Bombay EdT?
Wow, although I despise gin it has quite a complex aroma I may enjoy smelling!
How badly do you want the Knize Sec? The Different Scent carries it, found here. Shipping isn't exactly cheap, but it is pretty quick.
