Gillette Timeline of Shaving Firsts

I was browsing the Gillette site yesterday looking for early Gillette history. I came across the pdf file with the same name as this thread. I thought some of you might be interested. I was a little disappointed as it seems that Gillette places much more importance on it's blades then it's razors. However I did find what I was looking for in the 1st three lines.

You can read the complete pdf here.

They left out just about every razor they made and focused on their profit center: Blades.

A real shame they've forgotten their history.

Did I miss a razor with three settings?

I believe what they are talking about is three sections of adjustment -- 1-3 for "light", 4-6 for "regular", and 7-9 for "heavy".

Or could it be careless wording to describe the Blue Tip, Standard Tip and Red Tip Super Speeds. Matches the light, medium, heavy names found on the cases and in adverts.
