Gillette Tech 'Adjustable' ? :-/

A Tech adjustable, I'm sure even Gillette don't even know they produced it ^^
Here

Is it only me or there is a lot of misinformed seller on Ebay ?

Either misinformed seller or a seller trying to misinform people.

That's a pretty high price for a Tech I've seen.

EDIT: Being sold by a electronic scrap company...sounds about right.

I saw a gold ball-end tech listed on the bay for $49 ... US listing ... wonder if the sellers take any time to research "just what it is" that they are trying to sell ... and the average price rate.

Maybe it all has to do with semantics. Leave the blade out for the mild setting, put blade in for more aggressive?

I just saw a razor on ebay listed as a slim and fatboy (one razor, not multiple sale).

Not uncommon for an uninformed eBayer to shoot high. If a "razor guy" had this listing, he would be branded "evil" . . . but electronics salvage . . . I'd cut him slack.

His feedback score says "buyer beware" . . . that scares me more than his erroneous description and high asking price!

+1. And a slim that was called a FB.

For once, it was actually a fat boy. I see slims listed as fat boys all the time, but rarely the other way around. Well, I guess fat boy and slim as the descriptor.

Does that make this a Fat Boy Slim?:barbershop_quartet_

Funny thing is if you glance through their listings there is very little if any actual electronics..most of what I saw were police uniforms.

What would you say the value of a gold Ball end Tech is just out of interest, got one for $15, but the gold plating is literally mint condition. Are they from the 40's? If so, it couldn't have been shaved with.

I've seen multiple listings like this on eBay. Basically, they're lazy sellers that want to make money. So they put in terms that seem to sell well like "Fatboy", "Slim", "Adjustable", etc. Usually this is far from the truth.
